Snowy Playland 2007

In the Vanttauskoski village the school children from "Yläkemijoen koulu" planned and constructed (with a little help from the adults) a playland out of snow. The playland was used during the breaks in schooldays and in the skiing competions of the school and local sports club, Viirin Viri. It was also used at the evenings and weekends when children were playing on their own. The Playland supported the change for children to do sports and planing of the constructions and also realising them, was very good practice for sculpture skills.
