January 2007.
During the Advent the Icelandic Yule Lads and people in the tourism business invited guests to Dimmuborgir to meet the Yule Lads
and afterwards to Skjólbrekka, the community centre for coffee and cakes.
In Mývatnsstofa, information and guest centre, junior from the school of Reykjahlid came with their own decorated ornament and hang it on the Christmas tree.
Here are some photos from Mývatn.

Ladies from the handcraft shop "Dyngjan" and Pétur Gíslason manager of Hótel Reykjahlíð offered people to come to Hótel Reykjahlíð were they could learn how to make the pattern of the Leaf bread. Its an old custom to make the Leaf bread before Christmas and some people have created their own pattern. People also had coffee and cookies and two guitar players were playing.
Candle Beggar, one of the 13 Iicelandic Yule Lads, came by and showed the others how he cuts his Leaf bread

These strange and funny Lads, Bowl Licker and Spook Licker visited the Cowshed Café , Vogafjós, during the Advent.
Spoon Licker is the fourth brother of the Yule Lads to arrive to towns and Bowl Licker is the sixth one.
I am not sure if they managed to drink the milk from the cow or not!
